Training for the Future of Coworking

This project began in 2024, with coordinator Trevessu, from Italy, and partner NBS – Climate, from Spain.

Its objectives are:

1. Improve understanding of sustainable coworking models at a local level to promote best practices and shape European policies for decentralized workplaces and remote work.

a. Share innovative coworking access solutions and best practices;

b. Equip community leaders with skills for sustainable local investment and regeneration;

c. Develop a self-assessment tool for community leaders to identify strengths and opportunities in community reactivation.

It has the following activities:

• Training “Coworking typologies and best EU case studies” – PT

• Training “Coworking Management: Tools and Methodologies” – IT

• Training “Coworking Communities: How to build strong coworking communities – long-term partnerships” – SP

• National Workshops “CreaEU Cowork: Training for European Union innovation”

Project results:

• Participation in 3 international training courses that allowed for deeper knowledge about the Coworking phenomenon and success stories in rural contexts;

Strengthening relations with other Coworking spaces not only in the Alentejo region, but also in Italy and Spain;

• Final event in Portugal with the presence of 15 young participants from rural contexts who were able to discover this alternative work reality.
